MEDSource, Inc. provides lab support services and short-term rentals of surgical equipment to Bioskills labs all over the country. Below you will find specific information about our ordering and fulfillment process along with instructions on how to return equipment and request on-site lab support services.

You can order rental products by submitting a request form or by calling (303) 750-5357. By phone you can speak with one of our Lab Services Coordinators. Typically, you will receive your estimate within 3-4 hours via email for you to review and confirm before any official order is placed.

The earlier the better to ensure timely delivery and lower costs. Once you know what equipment and/or instrumentation will be needed for your event use you can request your estimate. Using MEDSource allows you the convenience of then waiting to confirm your order days, weeks, or months in advance. However, our inventory is rented on a first come, first served basis. We always recommend placing your order with us at least 2 weeks prior to your lab event to ensure that the equipment and/or instrumentation needed is available. Obviously the shorter the window adds cost and risk.

We receive requests for events anywhere from days to over a year in advance. However, it is best to start planning for your events as soon as possible. We recommend placing your order with us at least 2 weeks prior to your lab event. However, we understand how quickly events can change at the last minute. We always do everything we can to accommodate our clients’ needs. The shorter the window will add cost and risk as we have no control over the shipping companies and/or weather.

MEDSource on-site lab support is helpful when your lab does not have dedicated lab mangers and/or technicians. MEDSource lab support is also recommended for any large, multiple-station labs where the workload would be overwhelming for the lab manager(s) and/or technicians already on-site.

MEDSource uses a variety of shipping carriers depending on the specifications and needs of the order. You may also choose to pick up your equipment if you are local to Centennial, CO.

Equipment is always scheduled to arrive two days before your event begins. This provides a buffer in the event of transit delays due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. This also allows the customer time to fully inspect and test all equipment prior to the start of the lab to ensure nothing happening during shipping.

Tracking information is provided via email on ship day.

Return labels are provided with each shipment and are located inside the shipment with the packing list. A return pickup is scheduled for the business day after the lab. This allows the lab to the appropriate time for cleaning and to properly pack the equipment.

Equipment and instruments should be fully cleaned before packing up for return. Replace the labels with the provided return labels and place the case in a location on-site where shipping carriers pickup/drop off equipment. (This is often the shipping dock.)
